A program built on consistency, connection, and clear communication.

Pegasus Show Stable believes that success in the show ring begins with consistency, connection, and clear communication. Our riders develop through a structured system that balances technical skill, confidence, and horsemanship.

Whether you are stepping into the rated divisions for the first time or chasing year-end championships, your weekly plan is built around your goals and your horse.

How We Train Our Riders

Systematic Development

A measured progression through flatwork, gymnastics, and course work — so every step forward is built on a stable foundation.

Individualized Approach

Every rider's plan is shaped by their goals, their horse, and the division they're targeting this season.

Performance Mindset

We coach the mental side of the sport with the same rigor we coach the physical — at home and at the in-gate.

What's Included in Full Training

Full training at Pegasus is a complete program — care for your horse, coaching for you, and a clear plan for your show season.

SUPERIOR HORSE CARE

Daily turnout, custom feed plans, and on-site veterinary and farrier coordination — every horse in our program receives top-tier care tailored to its workload.

RIDING PROGRAM THAT WORKS

Structured weekly lessons, flatwork sessions, and gymnastic exercises build the foundation for consistent performance in the show ring.

SHOW-DAY SUPPORT

Show coaching, schooling, and braiding are all included so riders can focus on their performance from the moment they arrive at the gate.

Joining Pegasus changed the trajectory of my riding. The program is meticulous, the horses are exceptional, and the community is unlike anywhere else on the West Coast.

QUESTIONS WE HEAR OFTEN

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MUCH RIDING EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO TRAIN WITH PEGASUS?

Our program is built for riders who have already established a confident jumping foundation, typically schooling 2'6" or higher. We evaluate each rider individually to ensure the program is the right fit.

DO I NEED TO OWN A HORSE, OR CAN YOU HELP ME PURCHASE?

Both options are welcome. Many of our riders own their own horses, while others lease or purchase through our sales program with the guidance of our trainers.

HOW MUCH RIDING TIME DO I NEED TO COMMIT TO EACH WEEK?

Full training riders typically ride four to five days per week, with a mix of lessons, flatwork, and conditioning. Custom schedules are available for collegiate and working riders.

WHICH SHOWS DO YOU ATTEND EACH YEAR?

We compete throughout the West Coast circuit, including HITS Coachella, Blenheim, Del Mar, and the indoor finals on the East Coast for qualifying riders.
